The history of Arrowfield dates back to 1824 when George Bowman planted a vineyard on the Upper Hunter Valley site still occupied by Arrowfield Estate today.  During the 1970’s Arrowfield Estate was the largest vineyard in Australia, and the long-standing tradition and commitment to quality winemaking continues to this day.

Production is based around the home vineyards where meticulous viticulture results in fine fruit reflecting the character of terroir. Recognition of the wonderful diversity of the Australian industry is practiced with close, long term partnerships with dedicated growers from other fine regions.
