Claymore Wines is a Clare Valley winery started in 1997 by two medical professionals imagining early retirement in the Clare. Grenache, Riesling and Shiraz vines are 70 years old, and with beautiful terra rossa soils, the wines produced are extremely high quality. They now produce 10,000 cases annually from non-irrigated grapes grown mainly on their vineyards at Watervale and Penwortham.
