Murray Thomlinson – General Manager

Murray has a solid background in both channel marketing and the wine industry. Living and working in four countries has developed his knowledge of international business, and his travels have taken him to many of the world’s great wine regions. Upon completing his MBA, Murray entered the supply side of the wine industry, working for The Wine Company in Melbourne before joining InWine Distribution. Murray manages the National team and our relationship with Dan Murphy’s and Coles Liquor Group nationally.
He is currently enamoured of the 2004 Arrowfield Estate Show Reserve Semillon and the 2007 Prophet’s Rock Riesling, although Pinot Noir remains his first love.

Peter Capindale – National Key Accounts Manager NSW

After emigrating from the UK to Australia in 2000, Peter spent two years working for Geoffrey Crundall at his King’s Cross wine store, before entering the distribution side of the business, managing Northern NSW for The Wine Company, a long-established independent distributor. Peter joined InWine Distribution in 2006, assuming responsibility for the key NSW team. Peter also manages InWine's partnerships with liquor wholesale groups, BWS and Woolworths Liquor. His experience on both sides of the counter is invaluable.
His favourite tipple at the moment is the 2004 Arrowfield Estate Show Reserve Semillon, but he is always on the lookout for something new and exciting…

Born in Western Australia, Kate began her career in hospitality whilst studying for a degree in languages at UWA. Over a number of years she managed a select few of Perth and Margaret River’s key dining venues, before shifting into the wine distribution business in Sydney. After five years running key accounts for her previous employer, Kate joined InWine Distribution, relaunching the Queensland arm of the company. She has taken every opportunity to taste and assess wines, and has written reviews for local newspapers in her various towns of residence.
Rhys Davies - Area Manager WA

Rhys first became involved in the liquor industry more than 12 years ago in the retail side of the industry. He developed his thirst for wine knowledge after joining Liberty Liquors in 1998 in its East Perth store which counted many of the professional and commercial offices of Perth in its clientele. With the sale of Liberty Liquors to Woolworths he progressed to manage a number of BWS stores, including those concentrating on the sale of wines to customers with a sound knowledge of Australian wines. In January 2004 Rhys changed from retailing to wholesaling, joining Palandri Wines. After the sale of the Palandri Wines business he became the WA Business Manager for the new owner, 3 Oceans Wine Company. The InWine Group is now the sole Australian agent for the 3 Oceans Wine Company which includes the Palandri and Baldivis brands. |
